Chapter 5: Lymph nodes


4.9. Ascites on the right side: Below (on the right side of) the liver, anechoic fluid is visible in the pouch of Morison. This could initially be confused with the gallbladder, but after a few seconds the gallbladder appears. The gallbladder has a clearly visible wall (thus it is “contained fluid” not free fluid).
